The 2008 Colony of Gamers Child's Play Drive continues this weekend with a new raffle item up for grabs. Jason Zumwalt, your cousin Roman from GTA IV, has joined the mix offering up a personalized voicemail. Jason appeared on The Big American Episode (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=2655#post78080) of In-Game Chat (http://www.ingamechat.net) to announce his prize.

So far, Colony of Gamers has raised over $3,800 for Child's Play (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/)!
For more information on how to enter the Colony of Gamers Child's Play Raffle, visit the raffle thread. (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?p=65036#post65036)

Awesome, we're so close. Need to find new sources of donators :).

Awesome, we're so close. Need to find new sources of donators :).Honestly, I think it's amazing so much has been raised so far considering the relatively small number of potential donators who visit the site.

Great..I was wondering when we might see an update. Cash is kind of tight at the moment, but I am also waiting until after Thanksgiving to donate, more then likely the first week of December.

Wow, 89 contributors .. that's roughly $45 a piece? Nice average.

I gave a little more than I usually do this year, I would give much more, but I just flat out can not afford it. Hopefully I can do a bit more before the 15th, but I am for sure setting a little aside all through the year next time so I can maybe do even more.

And it is not the amount that counts, it just felt good giving extra, which would just have either ended up in my stomach or on a game I did not really need.

$3842.81??

Ok, who's donating loose change? I hate non-round numbers! This is almost as bad as my MS Points became after buying one Zune mp3. I miss the nice zeros on the right :(

I believe it waa Gilius Thunderhead that started that (I hope I am right on that).

I will be donating again before the drive ends. We need to reach that goal.

I believe it was blamed on the Canadian exchange rate in the other thread.

Cousin! So good to see you!

Yeah, that was me. I had an odd amount in my PayPal account, and just emptied it out into the pot. I also figured that since someone was OCD enough to round out the donation amount to $5 increments last time, it would result in someone making a extra donation just to round it out again. :p

I'm getting paid next week, so I'll be dropping some dinero in the pot. Maybe the exchange rate will go up a bit so that my donation isn't all screwy.

Reason #3,459 why Canada sucks donkey dick: They fuck up our pledge drives.

I already donated, but my paycheck arrives on the 1st, I'll see if I can donate some more.

Heh, doubtful. When we donate, paypal sets the funds in USD, it just takes the "change" out from the donator, it doesn't go into the pot like that.
