So who is down for a meet-up. It's been discussed in a couple other threads, but we may as well lay it all on the line here.

SoCal rules!
I'll be there, if we can schedule a time that is not Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evening. (M/W for school, Th for TF2)

I'm down for a meetup, but with the little one I barely get to leave the house as is. Let me know what the details are.

There's a Dave & Busters in Irvine. Just saying.

Since I'm 10 minutes from the Spectrum, I think this is a fantastic option.
If I had a car I'd so be there.

Have you been to that Dave & Busters... or any Dave & Busters for that matter?

I will be in LA at the end of the month for a Co-Optimus-related trip. I don't know how much free time I'll have, but it would be awesome to get drinks or something.

Long long time ago. Can't say I've consumed the food there.

Dave & Busters disappoint me I guess because I always walk in hoping for a decent arcade experience. I guess I need to realize that the proper Arcade is a dream of the past.
It is better than the Dave & Busters in Arcadia though. (which is a bit of a surprise because one would expect that with the name of the city it would be the best arcade ever. )

No... Dave & Busters definitely isn't an arcade. All of the games there are very casual where anyone can jump in and play them (unlike some of the games in a proper arcade where you pretty much have to be a "gamer" to appreciate them), but the food is decent and it's nice to order a giant beer and wings, then play a few games.

I could be down, depending on how "So" your "Cal" is. I'm just north of San Diego in Vista. I just hate LA.

Oh yeah, it definitely isn't an arcade just like Chuck E. Cheese isn't one either.

A bunch of drunk nerds showing up at Lego Land? Is that smart?

Fun and smart are rarely related.

It's Lego Land. It's isn't like we would be disturbing any other visitors.

Lego Land is just across the street from my work. I would totally be down.

I have actually never been to LEGO Land, so it would be a first for me.
and pheriannath, that would be awesome to see you again. We must make sure it's the same time he is here!

Worst case scenario would be that I have to stay near whatever hotel my benefactors place me in. I'll let people know.

Oh please tell me we aren't taking Lego Land seriously. For those who do not know everything in that place is miniature. Which is great for kids but not so great for the adults who need to supervise said kids on whatever attraction they want to go on.
I had to contort my body several times to go with my son on some rides.
ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney would be better.

We don't have to actually go on any rides, we can just get drunk before going, and then roam the park wasted.
Downtown Disney is nice, but expensive.

I still think Dave & Busters sounds like the best option.

That's even better, then we can get drunk and pretend to be giants.

A SoCal meetup? I think I'd actually make the drive. That'd be a grand old time.

Depending on work, I'd be up for this. Put some faces to some names (and you could put a face to this name you might have never seen post :)). Especially if it's in Irvine.

I have this image in my head of a bunch of drunk guys trying to act out a live version of Rampage and getting kicked out by yellow block people. Sounds like fun to me. I call the werewolf!

Bay Area is way too far. Not sure if my shitty car would make it. I would definitely be down for a drunken Lego Land romp, however.

So, is this not happening? A shame, if so.
