This building is a place where a guy locked his wife inside and burned her alive...he didn't know there was a choir group of kids inside practicing at the time. Apparently the place has been haunted and unusable since.

This is about where my still camera died out...I camped out on the Dry Tortugas island one night. That was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys camping. To be out on such a small island in the middle of the ocean 70 miles from the nearest city....awesome. And yes that is one big ass fort.

I took some video of the island and Fort Jefferson, but I haven't converted it to still photos yet which I think is the best thing to do with what I have.

I went there over a long memorial day weekend and I loved Key West so much I'm going back for New Years...I didn't take any pictures with myself in them or of my drunken nights on Duval Street (which btw, much better than Bourbon St.). I also missed alot of stuff on the island with one weekend but I think I'll be back many times.

I was hanging out with some of you, and you said the wedding was today, so I went (not as dressed up as I should be. The groom's side was his family/friends and then us, and the bride's side was movie stars. Robert Duvall was in the front row. Dustin Hoffman asked me to say a few words.

I don't know why, but he did. Then, every time I tried saying a few words, some crazy shit would happen. Harrison Ford showed up dressed like a firefighter. I guess there was supposed to be an impromptu blues jam (with Bad Buddha on harmonica), but I wasn't done talking so he started early. People were getting really upset, but I had hardly said five sentences total between all of the stops and starts. Eventually I got it all out (to groans from everyone not at CoG) and left, feeling entirely like I ruined what was supposed to be the best day of civil's life.

I was hanging out with some of you, and you said the wedding was today, so I went (not as dressed up as I should be. The groom's side was his family/friends and then us, and the bride's side was movie stars. Robert Duvall was in the front row. Dustin Hoffman asked me to say a few words.

I don't know why, but he did. Then, every time I tried saying a few words, some crazy shit would happen. Harrison Ford showed up dressed like a firefighter. I guess there was supposed to be an impromptu blues jam (with Bad Buddha on harmonica), but I wasn't done talking so he started early. People were getting really upset, but I had hardly said five sentences total between all of the stops and starts. Eventually I got it all out (to groans from everyone not at CoG) and left, feeling entirely like I ruined what was supposed to be the best day of civil's life.
