Rockstar Crew

So I see that Rockstar now has their "Crew (http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crews)" features set up, that'll work with Max Payne 3, GTA 5, and presumably all future games. Is anybody official planning on making a CoG crew? Those made before the release of Max Payne get some sort of special "founder" status.

Okay, I've created an initial crew, and even made a first attempt at the logo. (Like Purple Santa, I had no idea what to put for the motto, but it looks like it can be modified by other members. I'm not quite sure how the security works yet.)

Hmm, this is a weird interface. I thought I made it public (I set it to "recruiting members"). And then it looked like even after you requested, I still had to invite you in and then you accept before you actually join. I don't see any other security or public options on the management page.

submitted a request to join..... if they send an email i wont get it since its an email I dont use anymore, and their system wont let you update emaisl you have to create a new profile and insert all the gaems again which i dont have all of them since i only rented la noir

As far as I can tell, there's no emails going out. It's a very assbackwards system they have, which seems to be like this:

1) You submit a request to join.
2) I have to log in and notice that there have been requests -- I'm never told by email
3) I then have to invite in the people that requested
4) They have to go back and do something, like accept my invite I guess. (I haven't seen this end.)

So if anybody's tried to join in the past few days, log back in to the social club and check -- you should see an invite from me and will need to take some action to finally be in. Also, it's set up so that other members can invite people, but I don't know if that means they then have to go through all the steps above. I sure hope they streamline it soon.

Also, for something I suck at, the Max Payne multiplayer is a lot of fun. There's one map with a lot of catwalks where it seems easy to get hung up on the level geometry, but otherwise the ones I've seen are pretty good. (I really like the favela level!) My average lifespan tends to be 30-45 seconds, but respawns are quick and when I pull off cool moves I really feel like a badass....and then ruin it by doing something like shootdodging off the top of a four-story building. :)
