Good news! Gamers who start saying the name of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix very well may have the game before they finish.

The HD update of the classic fighter with the absurdly long name now has an official release date for XBLA - November 26th. Also known as the day before Thanksgiving, which for a fighter like that really is perfect.

The date was "leaked" when Capcom announced that they would be opening a branded storefront in the new Xbox Experience, and the given screenshot showed the date. No date has been given for the PSN version of the game, but expect it soon afterwards. No price has been given, either.

I'm going to try both demo's but I don't see how the Xbox controller can hold a candle to the PS3's for this type of game.

I'd be more excited for this if it didn't look like ass (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42790.html).

I wonder what you were expecting from a remix.

Still, this was hot a year ago (maybe, already bought the other one which I never played), now I'll just wait for 4.

I'm interested, but they HAVE to fix the lag that the first one suffered. Fighters are games you play against other people, not a computer.

I just looked at the video posted and its still the same animation. I only think I will buy this if they resolve the lag from the other game. If not I will probably just wait for 4.

I'm sure it'll be $20.

I figured this would be $10 which would be fine. More than that and I'll have to really like the demo. $20 is too much. I wish they would give an upgrade cost if you bought the original XBLA Street Fighter.

According to PS3fanboy.com this will be hitting PSN on the 25th. It will also include a free soundtrack.
In addition to the game, Capcom will also be releasing a direct-to-download music album of hip-hop tracks inspired by the Street Fighter series.
This might be my first PSN purchase for my PS3.

Hrm, the PS3 version then does look a tad more tempting, though the soundtrack might be absolute garbage. Still, free is free.

According to Capcom's post on the PlayStation Blog (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/11/20/super-street-fighter-ii-turbo-hd-remix-cometh/), it's going to be $15. I'm not so sure the game is worth that to me.

I need to see what people are saying first.
