So, I am sure by now this has already been posted somewhere, but there are early screenings of the upcoming Spider-Man flick next week. Not sure if passes are still available, but you can check here

The general consensus, or at least the majority opinion that I have read on the interwebs (the colony included) is that this movie is a waste of time. There are a lot of people who feel this movie was made too soon and that they should have waited longer before rebooting the franchise. They are against the very idea of this movie and are determined to hate it. Other's didn't like the trailer for one reason or another.
I for one welcome it with great enthusiasm. I never feel like it is too soon for more Spider-Man and am very excited to receive another version (in a long line of versions) of the character.
Superman's Dead and I are going to the LA screening on 2/6/12 at 12p. If there are any other colonists going let us know and perhaps we can meet up.
