So I know it might be slightly out dated :P but im looking for TBS games for the DS, i happen to have some free time and pulling out the DS works best in these cases. plus TBS on the PC arent really around. So any suggestions will be fine, I do have some so far but I cant remember them of the top of my head.

Turn Based Strategy.
The Advance Wars games are probably a safe bet, and there's the port of the original Disgaea. Outside that I'm not sure.
EDIT: There's also Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Age of Empires: The Age of Kings, the port of the original Front Mission, and the (from what I've heard less than stellar) Luminous Arc games.
Devil Survivor also has a good mix of TBS to it along with some minor RPG elements. I'm playing through the remake in the 3DS right now, but I loved the original as well.
And, while I haven't played either, would Infinite Space or Knights in the Nightmare be considered TBS?

sorry flyingorc, i should have used the term then abbreviated it i have the advance war games, and several of the other suggestions but havent looked into Infinite Space or Knights in the Nightmare or devil survivor. I also dont mind rpg elements in the game (which most have anyways)
Ah might as well any good rpgs out there for the DS too?

If you have a PSP as well there's also Tactics Ogre, Disgaea 1&2, Jeanne d'Arc, Metal Gear Ac!d 1&2, Wild ARMS XF, Field Commander, Phantom Brave, Yggdra Union, Knights in the Nightmare, Final Fantasy Tactics, and there's a new mini called Mecho Wars that's actually pretty damn good.
I love the FF3 and 4 remakes for the DS. Nostalgia is pretty great and I enjoyed the new Golden Sun quite a bit.

Disgaea 1 and Knights in the Nightmare are, and Yggdra Union was originally a GBA game so if you have a DS Lite you can play that as well.
