Over the summer my friends and I watched BSG up to Season 2.0. We did the miniseries early summer, and a blitz of Season 1 and 2.0. Over Thanksgiving and Christmas we plan on watching through 4.0.
So right now we are about to watch the first episode of 2.5.
Is the proper time to watch Razor after season 2.5, or after season 3? I've read the time is set between 2.5/3, but that it's considered the first 2 episodes of Season 4.

I've heard both as well. IMO, it fits better between 2.5 and 3.

Ya, I would watch it after 3. Its good but personally my least favorite of them all. Still BSG goodness though.

Yeah, unless you want spoilers watch it after season 3.

Okay, that's what I needed to know. It's the whole "how do you watch Star Wars" thing. Watch them chronologically, or the way they were made.
In both cases, the way they were made.
Thanks guys.

I would actually say watch 4, 5, 1-3 then 6. I think it works best that way from a narrative point of view.

That would ruin the whole "There is another skywalker" reveal in 6 though.

Really? I'd personally tend toward 4, 5, then 6.
Super original, I know. ;)

True, but by then it's not as big of a spoiler as watching it chronologically and knowing from the start of 4 that Darth is Luke's father. I think it also helps boost the more sympathetic character of Darth Vader/Anakin between Empire and Return and fits into a period when really, nothing much is happening. Luke is off training to be a jedi, his friends are making plans to rescue Han, the rebellion is working on their master plan etc..

Watching Jedi last certainly distracts you from the beginnings of prequel syndrome.

To get the full meaning of all the events, I suggest watching the DVDS in order of their release. Razor is a big flashback, but you need to see all of the primary events before you fully grasp the situation.
