FK! the IDW update has been updated with the same look as comixology. had to log in now to the IDW app and all my comics are gone.

Found them listed in the purchased section but it only shows 2 of the 8 GI Joe 2011 comics i've purchased. Clicking into the store to the same books shows a price tag instead of 'download'.

what the fuck! an update and i lose everything i've purchased over the last few months?

No one to contact either as its an app. fk, i'm not buying them again. Any suggestions?

I think IDW switched from iVerse to Comixology and lost there records or something.

Yes, a cursory look on their website shows that. Comixology is now the digital Diamond. Any you can try this:

i sent an email to IDW app support as well as sent feedback via the app yesterday and was really impressed that I got 2 responses right away. They gave suggestions on how to recover the books as well as a follow up to get screen shots of my reciepts.

I just sent the email to a guy at comixology with a few screens but i couldn't find all of them. I explained that the issue may have been bought when i purchased multiple items in the app store on the same day, and how even though I don't have reciepts for GI Joe 2011 #1,2,4,7 - i do have them for #3,5,6,8 and have been buying it from the series launch.

Really impressed that the response time was very quick and they are very helpful in helping their customers.

Just have to wait and see what happens now.

Part of me wants to say this is what you get for buying GI Joe comics. :)

But I don't know the quality of those books. I might b missing out.

boo to you. GI Joe was one of my favourite toys and comics growing up. There is a classics section but haven't bought them because I have the original print versions in a box on the shelf.

Finally got everything all sorted out and downloaded the standalone GI Joe app - logged in with my comixology account and bam - able to download all the joe books i already bought. love it.

@muddi900 - GI Joe Cobra (with chuckles) looks great and I saw there is a 2 issue special that takes place after issue 4 and then starts back with Cobra II - is the special worth grabbing as well?

Tempted to get GI Joe vol 1 becaue i like what chuck dixon did with Joe 2011 cobra civil war (didn't like the snake eyes or Cobra civil war books).

Here's hoping itunes gift cards come my way at christmas time.

Yeah the Special is great, maybe the best issue. I think they broke it up in 2 for digital, which is wrong, since there is a really cool thing they do involving Tomax/Xamot.

At least there is a happy ending here.

Grabbed the cobra special and it was pretty good. Cobra II is next.

The gi joe cobra civil was was pretty solid 8 issue run. Now it's into I think a 9 part cobra command, the only problem is that it's not it's own series. Part 1 was issue 9 of joe cobra cw, part 2 was issue 9 of cobra civil war, etc etc. series is great but sucks that it seems missplaced

I'm not sure who published it, but if you can find it, Master and Apprentice is a great GIJoe story.
