I would have loved to have this forum up for the crazy regular season for NCAAF. Fortunately, it's up just in time for Bowl Season!

As I do every year, I will be watching every bowl game I can. I usually root for the underdog in each game, but I also bias towards the Big Ten.

I am most excited for the Insight Bowl with Iowa vs Oklahoma. Its a travesty that these teams have only played once ever in their history, and when they did Iowa had a player on the team by the name of Bob Stoops. Iowa didn't have a great year, but they always play hard in their bowl games.

As far as the BCS games go, I'm predicting LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma St, Michigan, and Clemson to win their games. Man, those last two are real duds. I feel the Arkansas-Kansas St game is going to be better than most of the BCS games.

Here's my input...

#1. The Big Ten's luster has taken quite a hit with the shenanigans over at PSU. =( Man... what a shitty situation.

#2. The conference system is completely atrocious at this point. We've got Boise State heading to the Big East? What the F?

#3. LSU vs. Bama... again... Yes, LSU completely and wholeheartedly deserves to be in the NC game, but come on, take off the SEC glasses and give someone else a shot. Bama already had their chance, why not give Okie State or Stanford one?

You're not the only one disappointed, but OSU and the K state games should be great, I see OSU and arkansas walking away with a W. really shitty that we are seeing a rematch for the title, OSU lost their game after a school tragedy where friends and family died.

As far as BSU yeah it is really dumb they are in the Big East/ Big USA? but bsu made the right move, it is their only chance at getting some respect if they can go undefeated or 1 loss in the big east when they travel cross country 6 times it should help them.

The Big Ten also lost some luster with every team having at least 2 loses, most of them bad loses.

Oklahoma St had their chance at the title game when they had a fairly easy schedule down the stretch. If you can't take care of Iowa St, you don't deserve to play in the National Championship Game.

LSU and Bama are the best 2 teams in the league, as much as it pains me to admit (hate the SEC domination, but it's been earned). I feel like LSU is going to actually score some points this time around, which will actually make it les interesting for me. I loved the defensive battle they had the first go around.

I just think the tragedy very likely affected how they played, the alabam lsu game can still be good, i simply would have preferred lsu osu.

I'll admit the tragedy probably affected their play, but I don't think it was a major factor. Most championship level teams have to face some adversity throughout the season. Granted, most of them aren't on the tragic level.

Well... ...I can quit getting in flame wars with those knuckle heads over at rivals now. :)

LSU and Bama are really that good. The BCS should be looking to set up #1 vs #2 and that is exactly what they did. Oklahoma State would get killed about as badly as Arkansas did against either of those two teams. They both have a lot of depth and really wear the opponents O-line and Defense down.

Obviously I will be watching the Cotton Bowl. I'm really disappointed that politics and geography kept Arkansas out of the Capital One Bowl and the rules kept them out of a BCS Bowl. Still, this should be a pretty good match up and that is the only game on that Friday. The Hogs just need to seal the deal and get a good post season win for momentum and recruiting.
