So merge Tranformers, Starship Troopers, Terminator and a few funny people and I think Netflix sharing will be excellent. I can't stop laughing at this trailer. And yes, this is available on NXE.

When does sharing finally get loaded on though?

I doubt netflix sharing would be possible, the logistics would break the internet.

The movie looks cool though.

Well I really doubt MS were out and out lying at E3, so it will arrive eventually. Even though I can't use the service, it still sounds cool to a freakish extent.

That trailer is cool and entertaining as hell. It looks like it may well be a so-bad-it's-good. It's not on metacritic, and only has 3 reviews so far. Doesn't bode well considering it's been out since June last year.

Saw this on watch instantly, and added it to my Q. NXE is awesome, the Netflix streaming works great (even tells you how far into a show/movie you are, and has resume), and I can't wait until the movie sharing.

Didn't the movie sharing feature get held back? So we have to wait an indeterminate amount of time (after the NXE's release) before it will be available?

This movie looks awful and now I want to rent it.

Has anybody tried to sit through Starship Troopers 2? I'd be amazed if someone could sit through that one.

edit:

oh yea, why isn't there a netflix queue thread on these forums? I'd be interested to see what other CoG's are watching

I am so adding this to my queue.

The shared movie feature has been delayed, but wouldn't it be possible to just join a party and have everyone start the movie at the same time? As long as nobody pauses, that should theoretically work.

Interesting. I should find someone to try that with. It's in my queue already.

I rented this from Blockbuster a couple of months ago, and found it to be too bad to be good. It's not even funny-bad, its just...bad.

That, and the audio track went of sync about 20 minutes into the movie, and gets progressively worse as the movie continues.

Watching bad movies alone, remain bad movies.

...what? This made no sense to me...

I find if I watch a bad movie. It's never funny. It will remain a bad movie. Not entertaining at all.

You watch a bad movie with friends. Some commentary can make it at least enjoyable. That's the foundation of MST3K

It's like how folks liked Snake on a Plane with friends or an audience but couldn't pass it alone.

Is ghetto sharing possible? do the 8-man party and everyone hits play at once?

Oh, I see what you're saying. I did watch it with friends, this movie is just terrible. But maybe you'll think otherwise :)

I rented ST2 from Blockbuster a few months back. Still mustering up the courage to handle 3.

Hmmm... Did y'all sit quietly trying to enjoy it?

How so? The only thing sharing adds to the mix of a group of people all streaming a movie and chatting in a room is making sure the movie is in sync and that shouldn't be too hard at all.

It was probably a case of over-excitement. How can a bunch of people with different bandwidth, watch the same movie at the same time? Its logistically not possible!
