Weird error/redirect

The last few days using Chrome (on two separate computers) I've had an issue where I load up the front page of the site, and without doing anything I get redirected to an error page that says "Invalid something something something" (it redirects too fast for me to read it). It then redirects again to a white screen with the url:

http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/profile.php?do=dst

It seems to happen randomly and I can't reproduce as I type this to try seeing what the error message is, but it has happened quite frequently over the past couple days.

I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing it or not, but it's kind of annoying so I am making you aware if you are not already.

I use chrome on both my windows machine at work and my laptop...haven't run into this issue.

Try nixing any add-ons you have installed. I, too, use Chrome on numerous machines and haven't seen any issues.

I was able to grab a screenshot of the error in motion today.

I am using vanilla installs of Chrome, no plug-ins.

I get that too sometimes when I go to CoG on an iOS device, and if CoG then shows a popup and tells me it is Tapatalk compatible. If I decline that, I get to that redirect page.

Edit: I get that error message page, but not the same url:

www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/login.php

I'm curious if the fact that my bookmarks are to "colonyofgamers.com" and not "http://" or "www." have something to do with it.

I've started to get a strange 'install this plugin' yellow bar everytime I sign in. For no reason. I have, of course, just googled the answer. But I am annoyed with it.

I've had this error the last couple of days on my iPad.

This has been happening to me every time I log in for the past few weeks on both device and desktop. I'm lazy when I type in so I'm wondering if the fact that I come to site as colonyofgamers.com on those particular machines and devices has something to do with it. I haven't tried to repro it at home as I don't clear my cache as often as I do at work so I rarely have to log back in at home.

Repro steps for me are:
- Go to colonyofgamers.com after being logged out
- Log in
Redirect error appears "Invalid redirect url: http://colonyofgamers.com"
