Microsoft has said, via press release (http://gamerscoreblog.com/press/archive/2008/10/01/fbllecttcge.aspx), that the Limited Collector's Edition of Fable II will contain slightly less collectables. Due to "supply chain issues," the special box, fate cards and Hobbe figure have recieved the axe.

However, because of this MS has also lowered the price from $79.99 to $69.99. Also, don't forget that it still includes a bonus DVD and extra in-game content including the Hall of the Dead dungeon, the Wreckager Legendary weapon, and Fable II style Spartan armor complete with energy sword.

As a show of good faith, MS will also make a selective soundtrack of Fable music available free of charge at Sumthing Digital (http://www.sumthingdigital.com) starting on Oct 6, 2008; simply enter the promotion code "FableCollection."

Lastly, they'd like to remind everyone that Fable is being pressed to disc as we speak, and will be available in North America and Asia on Oct 21, and in Europe on Oct 24.

So basically, there isn't much reason to still pay the premium at all. takes a lot more than a bonus DVD.
