The eternal question - are you a lefty or a righty? It's an unspoken belief among many that there's a lefty conspiracy.
Here's a list of famous lefties:
Albert Einstein - scientist
Phil Mickelson - golfer
C. Montgomery Burns - Homer Simpson's boss
George H.W. Bush - President of the US
Ned Flanders - Homer Simpson's neighbor
Jimi Hendrix - guitarist
Leonardo da Vinci - artist
Leroy Neiman
M.C. Escher - painter
Michelangelo Buonaroti
Hans Holbein the Younger
Henri de Toulouse Lautrec
Paul Klee
Peter Paul Rubens
Randy Johnson - MLB picther
Raoul Dufy
William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton - former U.S. President
Jerry Seinfeld - actor/comedian
And this is what happens when you Google "famous right handed people." (http://www.google.com/search?q=famous+right+handed+people&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)
So what are you?
I'm the first famous right-handed person is what I am.

Bit of both. Some things I can do best left handed (e.g. play pool), some things I do best right handed (e.g. write), and some things I can do with either hand (e.g. play tennis, cricket etc.)

Hopefully that made some amount of sense, I'm for some reason exhausted and it makes thinking coherently somewhat difficult.

You think there's a "lefty conspiracy?" Sounds like someone so deep in the camp of the right-handed oppressors that he can't see what he's doing.
Go into a classroom. Notice the left-handed desks. I'm not talking about how many there are, but sit in a right-handed desk, then a left-handed desk. They're not quite mirror images. The desk portion that comes over the chair in a left-handed desk tends to dig into your side, whereas this doesn't happen in a right-handed desk.
Not to mention the fact that most things "made for left-handed people" are of shoddy workmanship in general. I've never seen a good pair of left-handed scissors. Left-handed pens (whose ink is supposed to dry faster) rarely live up to their promises. It's all just righty keeping us down.
Also note the poll, since it's expected that right-handers would win, is naturally flipping the bird to everyone not right-handed when you see the poll results.
All part of the conspiracy.

What the hell is a "left handed pen"?
Left-handed people tend to drag their hand on the paper, smearing what they're writing. Left-handed pens supposedly have ink that dries faster, minimizing the problem.

What the hell is a "left handed pen"?
I think it was explained well. It is a quick drying pen since your hand/arm moves horizontally over what you have just written as you go along. If it didn't dry fast enough you would get ink stains/smears.
I'm a righty and I see lots of interesting writing situations for lefties. I knew a co-worker that actually wrote with the paper at a 90 degree angle and wrote top/down and excellent penmanship.

I'm a lefty and do the 90 degree trick. Pen actually isn't too bad, it's pencil that really gets all over your hands. Oh and spiral notebooks suck ass. Nothing like a nice sharp piece of metal digging into your wrist.
Also, like most left handed people I do many things right handed. There's just no way that you can go through life in a right handed world learning to do everything left handed.

That's what happened to me. I don't mean they beat my hands with a ruler or anything - in fact, I don't remember quite what they did - but it is pretty well remembered by everyone else how they exorcised the evil of my left-handedness out of my. So, now I'm a righty...well, barely.
I hold my pen oddly apparently (everyone comments on it), my print is absolutely atrocious and my after seeing the bizarre symbols that are my cursive, all of my teachers told me never to do that to them again. Perhaps that's my own bit of resistance. :D

I take offence at your assertion, James. Clearly, as opposed to being "grammatically challenged," as you call it, we left-handers are rather adept at paralleling the left-hand/right-hand rivalry with similarly arbitrary rivalries (e.g. East coast/West coast) and juxtaposing inappropriate colloquialisms to great comic effect, at least to those that understand us. Your ignorance thus displays a right-handed inability to discern my subtleties.

Uh, ditto. At least the part about your mom and the nuns. As for the cupping of the balls I'll let her tell you when it's time. ;)
I write with my right hand, but do everything else with my left side, including kicking, batting, etc. I'm old enough that when I started school being left-handed was seen as "wrong". One of my goals for next year is to teach myself to write with my left hand so I can get back to my roots.

Righty with everything in life.
Lefty with a hockey stick. Being Canadian, I'm of the belief that when I was born, doctors mistakenly put the hockey stick that all newborn Canucks receive into my left hand.
My mother refuses to verify if my claim is correct :(
I'm a lefty, but only for drawing and writing. Sports, I tend to use my right. Throwing, bat-swinging, tennis/ping-pong... I even kick with my right foot. This may be why I suck at sports, but my left side is naturally worse for all those tasks.
So technically ambidextrous, but I voted lefty because it's how I write and draw.

In Latin, the adjective sinister, -a, -um, means "left" and sometimes "left-handed."
(Ah, shit, with fifty posts per page, this bumps me as the first post on the second page...)
Nice work on the Latin, Rini! I took two years of it, and it's been helpful for deconstructing a word I don't know offhand. Still, I missed this one.

I do some things with my right hand - such as using a computer mouse. I can't use a mouse with my left hand for some reason, it just doesn't feel right. I do most things with my left hand though.
Edit - As far as writing goes, I usually turn the paper at an angle, and/or raise my hand up while I'm writing. I hold my pen in kind of an awkward manner to avoiding smearing ink/graphite.

Do all you lefties use a computer mouse in your left hand all the time and swap the left/right click and map all your keys in games to something on the right side of the keyboard?
Nope, I'm a lefty and I use a right-handed mouse. In fact, even though I draw with my left hand (pencils and pens)... all of my Photoshop drawing skills are in my right mouse hand. I guess I'm more ambidextrous than I realized. I never even thought about it much.
