WAR: Who's Playing?

Due to the awesome amazon.com half price sale yesterday, my wife will be giving me a copy of Warhammer Online for Christmas :) So, I will need a home!

Who's playing? What server are CoGs on? Is there a CoG guild?

I'm in the Fallen Guard destruction guild on Red Eye Mountain. Two of the lead members are our very own Ghostbear and Vyzov. I'm not sure if any other CoGers are active in the guild, but we've had quite a few like mightbe, Hellbug and Lekon.

I have a subscription, but I'm only level 8 and all of the EU English servers are pretty much dead as far as I can tell, so I can't really see a reason to carry on.
Plus I just got a free copy of WotLK.

I never believed in WoWs complete, unassailable dominion until now...

Fallen Guard is where most of the CoG players I saw played. You happened to ask during the fall rush of games. I haven't played in a few weeks, will go back once I get through some of the games I've been playing and the December patch to introduce the Knight of the Blazing sun and Blackguard back into the game is out.

I'll come back to WAR when they make leveling past ~22 fun or when you can join a scenario queue and not get the same map 19/20 times. I like the game, but it became a grind for all 4 characters I got to ~20.

If that never happens, maybe I'll ebay an end-game account sometime down the line.

I'm giving WAR a break until after the holidays.

I'm too engrossed in Fallout 3 right now anyways.

Ironically I just got invited to the 1.06 beta. I might login long enough to check out the Blackguard.

Good point. I didn't consider it, because I tend to play games on a serious delay. For example, I just finished Mass Effect and am in the middle of The Orange Box. Cheap games ftw.

I can't speak for grinds, since my highest character is 23, but they fixed the scenario queue problem. It's much more varied, and the current event adds a brand new scenario available to all tiers.
