I couldn't find the original thread discussing it, but just wanted to make an update. I've got UPS shipping confirmation on my replacement PAX 2008 Collector's Edition Razer DeathAdder mouse.
If you bought one of these limited edition mice, you were probably a little irritated that the mousewheel LED was not functional. The PAX logo glows properly, but the mousewheel just sits there, darkened like the dead eyes of a zombie.
Even though the mouse is otherwise functional, it was disappointing to pay a little extra for a limited edition mouse and find it cosmetically gimped. Fortunately, Razer was quick to promise replacement, even if they kept disclaiming it with "your mouse still functions, you know". It has taken some time, but they kept their word and are now delivering replacements "for RMA use only" (which I assume means you'll need to send back the other mouse in the box they send you the new one in).
If you haven't done so already, fill out the form here (http://www.razersupport.com/pax-deathadder/) to request a replacement. You'll be asked a few questions, including the mouse serial number (conveniently located on the underside of the mouse).
