Mana Khemia PSP Coming In January

I passed up Mana Khemia's PS2 release when I heard this version was coming out and now it's finally got a release date: January according to PSPFanbo (http://www.pspfanboy.com/2008/11/13/mana-khemia-set-for-release-in-january/)y. Or, more specifically, January 20th according to EB (http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72150). And, of course, I'm stealing the cover art image from PSPFanboy, just cause it's nice:

The PSP version gets some new bosses, local multiplayer, and an optional install to make load times faster.

This game is pretty fun. I still need to get back to it, though. I left the game somewhere in the second or third chapter. My PS2 is kind of broken, though...

Anyway, have a nice time picking Mana Khemia up on my birthday! It's a great JRPG.

I'm looking forward to this, even though I've already played and beaten the PS2 game. I maintain that the PS2 game is the best of their games to date (out of the this, the three Atelier Iris games, and Ar Tonelico). I'm really hoping we get Mana Khemia 2 some time next year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hadn't NISA indicated a while back that they were planning on releasing this in January? Or had they just said "early 2009" or something like that? For some reason this doesn't strike me as a surprise.
