It's a clan I've played pretty much every BF game with, and they try to be fair and non-hostile, plus elimination of asshats via console admin when they are on.

(yes, it's a pimp out. If this isn't welcome by all means let me know. Just figured I'd throw a shout out there that if CoG doesn't get a server, this could be an alternative)

If you live in Korea and/or neighboring areas or at least it looked like you did when they ran a geoloc on your IP then yeah, you could be playing right now. :)

Unlocking BF3 early via Korean Proxy.
1. Run/Login to Origin
2. Run Internet Explorer
2a. Internet Options
2b. Connections Tab
2c. Lan Settings
2d. Check the proxy box and input 211.53.208.28 into the IP box and 3128 into the Port.
2e. Save
3. Run BF3 via Origin (a date verification will run)
4. Once the verification is done go back to IE and disable the proxy so your internet traffic is not routed through it. If you do not disable it you risk your own security.
5. Play BF3

It works well with my skills. I'm pretty good at the start of a firefight, but the longer it takes the worse I get.

Hardcore does not forsake the minimap, just the HUD in the lower right. It does take less ammo to kill a guy, which I generally appreciate.

Nah, it wasn't that it was one time, it was that you jumped in my tank 5 times, and the last 3 times never fired a shot. I asked you quite a few times in the squad chat to get out, and eventually you kept squad spawning into my tank, and I would stop to ask again. At that point I assumed you were fucking with me because you responded to me after I asked you to leave so it wasn't ignorance. I did rage a good deal there, mainly because I was having a good round and your sheer incompetence was astounding/infuriating me.

On an unrelated note, do AT mines only do 50% damage to tanks? I ran over a few singles and was brought to 50% most every time. May need to start pairing them up.

I'm curious what the max you can have out is. They stay after death, pretty sure I had 9+ at one point on Seine Crossing.

I recommend getting Teamspeak, as that is what we are using.

Great time tonight fellas, heres hoping the server stays full. We had pretty good luck with people joining while we were playing squad dm, which also happened to be pretty fun so hey!

I convinced a few friends to join me on the CoG server. They had a blast playing with you guys, but some of them prefer hardcore mode and might not be on all the time like I would like.

We had a crazy close match in the last game I played there last night. Way closer than in any of ther other servers I've been on.

Nah I was trying not to spam shots because I thought it gave away position. He got really pissed off when I was looking the other way while he popped out to repair the tank and got shot from behind, also, I bailed any time the tank went into 'warning' mode because I figure that's what everyone does. I didn't know he was an engineer but I figured out afterwards that's why he was jumping out of the tank.

Lasers are great against Snipers and that's about the extent of it's usefulness. Lasers and Flashlights are annoying as hell to be looking at but you do become an easy target.

I recommend it, vigil and torrefaction and vassina I think the name is are a blast to play with. Vass always carries a anti-vehicle weapon and is a god send to have in your squad let alone your team.

It's like 10,000pts per co-op mission, I played on normal and hard where the difference was more or less 1000pts...I'm going to try it on easy just to see if it even matters.

This is for the first 3 missions.

The problem is that even if we get about 16 of us on the server it rarely fills up. This was the problem we had with our Bad Company 2 server. I would love to see it succeed, but if you cant get pubbies to join up, it's a wasteland. Battlefield with so few players is hardly Battlefield.

What a buggy game. I can run on High settings across the board getting 50 to 70 fps but I crash a LOT. It doesn't crash with any particular action. Driving a vehicle, throwing a med pack, just after spawning etc. The only time it has not happened is in a fire fight which is really odd.

There are countless people on the forums with the same trouble and its definitely not overheating. My CPU is sitting around 35c to 40c on all 4 cores and my graphics card has fan turned to 100% with a temp of 68 to 72c which is about 15 degree lower than most benchmarked reviews.

This being BF meant that I was more than expecting a few bugs but its frustrating none the less. Especially when I play with a couple of good friends in a packed server meaning I often have to wait for a spot to open up before rejoining.

Other than that I am absolutely loving the game.

Yeah I have a friend I play with who gets no crashes. Unfortunatly the forums are filled with posts by players with the same problem so I will await the patch that makes it all better.

Yeah, I wasn't doubting the crash problem at all. I had horrible issues with bfbc2 my computer was continuously crashing whenever I played it the two months prior to bf3. However I have not had a single issue with bf3 crashing but i know people have been. are you overclocked or undervolted at all?

Some quick googling suggests that it goes up or down as you kill people or get killed and the amount depends on the other person's skill stat. Mine's sitting at -32 right now. :p

Quick tip:

Hold "e" as you try to enter a vehicle, you will be able to enter it before the prompt comes up, and it will not cause to jump back out.
