Trading in some stuff to take advantage of Gamestop's $19.99 deal. Which should I get?? I'm trading in Brothers in Arms and Lost Odyssey to pick up one of these 3 for $19.99
Little Big Planet
Resistance 2
Call of Duty:World At War
Which should I choose???

I would say LittleBigPlanet, but I really don't have any experience with the other games (well, except I hear CoD 5 is the same as 4).

i've been playing all three, and they are all excellent for different reasons. Call of duty is one of the best WW2 shooters, resistance 2 is a very solid game in most aspects (graphics and local multiplayer are weak) but little big planet is truly something special, and my game of the year choice for sure. i've been playing since the beta, and it still makes me smile so much to just play. with friends or without.
i just hope sony lay back on deleting some of the content they have taken out.

Haven't played CoD or R2, but LBP is all kinds of awesome. I'd go for that. Really fresh and fun.

My vote goes to LBP, the others are just recycled games, good games, but just recycled sequels all the same. They are probably worth playing at some point, but if you want something fresh, entertaining and amusing then LBP is the one.

i too vote lbp, it kept me up till 4 a.m. again yesterday... ^^
after doing yoga i went to a friend to play a little and eat, then we mucked about the editor together, but didnt enjoy it so much because only player 1 can control the camera, but thats beside the point. after the editing we played a few levels, then i went home, did some things for work and at 2 a.m. i went to quickly build a contraption, but since i am not through with all the tutorial videos and watched a few again i discovered some new cool things to do which kept me up till 4 a.m. ;)
this game has so much potential and gives you so many tools, its awesome
i just wish there was a better camera and mouse support for editmode ;)

LBP would get my vote, but they're all so different it's hard to recommend one over the other. R2 gives you a style of co-op that you won't find anywhere else and LBP gives you level creation and a fun platformer that's different from most everything else out there. CoD I know nothing about, but it's gotten some good reviews, so I'm sure you can't really go wrong there if you like the style.
So yeah, I wasn't helpful at all. :p

This seems like a really easy decision. After playing all three, I'd choose LBP. Resistance 2 isn't that good.... and COD has been done before. LBP hasn't.

I'd say COD5 but that's only because I'm a Call of Duty freak. LBP is a good rental and if you really like it, then I'd buy it but you can pretty much blaze through the game in a weekend. I bought LBP but can see myself selling it after I beat it since they are deleting all the best levels I loved online.

To think that the only worthwhile levels there will be created in LBP are those based on other properties is foolish. There are, and will continue to be, quite a few interesting, creative levels to play. LBP is hardly a weekend rental.

I've found that there are two kinds of people when it comes to LBP, people who love the heck out of it and people who get their fill after playing through the single player. If you don't know which one you are it's better to rent it for a few bucks then to plunk down the full cost isn't it? No one is saying you can't buy it later if you fall in love with it.

LittleBigPlanet - it's got a fantastic single player game, local and online multiplayer, level creation tools (just don't create anything that will violate another's copyright) and SackPeople!

You could say that about a ton of games though. Rent before you buy isn't a bad idea for most things if you're hesitant.

LBP is the only one of those games that interests me, so it gets my vote.

Resistance 2 if you want to do online FPS, LBP if you want to platform.. and CoD:WaW if you want another fucking world war 2 game. So you better not fucking buy CoD:WaW.

I didn't know that you were a QA team member. What other games have you contributed to?

Depends what kind of gameplay you are looking for? Platforming = LBP. FPS with some online component Resistance 2. FPS with LOTS of online component playing COD5. What are you in the mood for? Probably get most bang for your buck with COD5 if you live online.

So I went with LBP, glad I did. This is perhaps the most bizarre game I've ever played! Love the concept, graphics are great, gameplay completely original, and the soundtrack is awesome! I think the music is the best part of this game. I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far.

If you are looking for a quirky, social, and addictive platformer with what seems to be endless content, I would go with LBP. It is my GoTY because of its uniqueness and how much it makes me laugh.
Add Leper DCE if you want a buddy to help you find stuff!

you made a good choice with lbp
I'm playing Resistance 2 and LBP right now. both are outstanding games. but the user-created content of LBP is really what is going to keep the game awesome for some time yet.
I do suggest playing resistance 2 though.
