New Watchmen trailer!

Hey, look at that, it's a new Watchmen Trailer. (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/39094) This one gives up quite a bit more plot detail and gives us a taste of some of the acting going on. Personally, I've got mixed feelings. Not sure if I'm down with the gratuitious slow-mo and Dr. Manhattan didn't strike me as being very... Dr. Manhattany. But, its all still very visually exciting and I'm still looking forward to March and being able to see this in action.

I'm scared. Is nobody else as bugged by the fact that they're calling (I assume it's the crime-busters) the Crime Busters "The Watchmen"? I cringe when I hear "Watchmen! One of us died tonight!"

Every time I watch this thing I come closer and closer to the realization that this is going to be a total ass-raping of Watchmen.

I was cynical anyway, but it looks like they're going too close to the stylized 300 look with the slow-mo and the exaggerated sexy swagger of the characters.

Fucking amazing. The usage of Muse's "Take A Bow" was top notch too. This film is going to blow open uteruses.

I liked how they mixed it right into some Philip Glass, at first I thought they actually had him working on some new music for the film or something because the transition was so smooth.

Really? I thought it felt out of place, and poorly edited together. I love the song, but it seemed so cut and pasted together. But that's just me.
