I was wondering if it it was reasonable to get an increase in the limit on the PMs? Dunno how much space it takes, but if it is trivial, I'd appreciate an increase, instead of having to go through my old ones.
Thanks.

Ah, that is an easy way to deal with it. Thanks, Spec.

I was glad when someone else pointed it out to me. Happy to be of help, my friend. :)

To follow up, I did this and found that the xml doc by itself isn't very readable. So, after a quick search, I found this stylesheet (http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=393051) for vBulletin private messages. Trivially easy to apply, and makes the messages much easier to read.

Huh, didn't know this was there. I'll keep it in mind before I do my next PM purge... :o

Oh, all you popular people flaunting your overflowing PM boxes... All of mine could probably fit on one page, which will be my suicide note.
To tell you the truth I almost always forget about PMs until a really specific situation comes up where one would be needed. I think most of mine are probably talking to Voodoo about the minecraft server.

Count me in the group of PM limits are not a concern. Then again, I'd probably just trash mine if it came to it. I have to do that regularly on my DnD forum.

Yeah, I don't know how people accrue these many PMs.

I've filled my inbox at least seven or eight times now...I think. Quite a few times anyway. I used to delete them, but then I started archiving them. Over on EvAv I think the limit was higher, but I'm not sure.

Yes, for $5 you could store 50 more messages. If you wanted unlimited you placed $20 into the special account that was name D.W. :p

That's right! I was pretty sure that my limit there was higher.
Oh well, the limit here doesn't really bother me.
