has anyone been following? two weeks in and some really exciting stuff is already happening.

- Lakers are 7-0 and look very dominant...they're playing great defense (i can't stand them but credit where credit is due)

- Celtics look like they haven't missed a beat. Pierce thinks he's the greatest player in the world and has been backing that up with some late game heroics.

- Cavs are running with a small lineup that looks very very dangerous.

- Hawks look legit. They are playing great basketball.

- Dwight Howard had this stat line last night: 30 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks. Yes, 10 blocks...it's not a typo.

- The Knicks actually look like a team for the first time in the last few years. Marbury and Curry still need to go though.

I'd post more thoughts but i'm lazy. Feel free to post your own thoughts!

Are the Blazers finally coming out of the gutter yet?

Their stats don't look too bad so far this year.

cawblen...you must have been bajan back at EvAv.

I'd agree with your highlights thus far, but there are a lot of disappointments, too. Houston, Dallas, Philly, Phoenix, San Antonio, Miami, Clippers, New Orleans and others...

Most of these teams will come around, but it's disappointing to see it where it is right now. It's highly improbable but I'm hoping McDyess signs with Boston. The repeat becomes much more likely if that happens. No disrespect to Powe, but I'll take Dice now and Powe in two years.

I'm hoping Houston wakes up. Artest's offense has been in the gutter. They have way too much injury issues and frail bodies. They need to get healthy and rack up wins early on.

I just hope the Bulls can actually look like an NBA team this year...Last year was a huge step back, and there's definitely hurdles to overcome this year, but they haven't looked terrible so far...

rah RAH! someone remembers me lol...if i remember correctly you're Jamaican, yeh?...i don't post often but i'm trying...i just never have the time to participate the way i would like to.

i REALLY hope Dice signs with the Celtics...i have them pegged to repeat despite how good the Lakers look.

Houston is a mess. I don't think that Artest is the answer. What they really need is a true PG. No offense to Alston but they need a better facilitator to get the ball to Yao and T-Mac. That being said, i'm sure Houston will get their act together and do very well...especially defensively. Battier as 6th man? crazy!

Oden is going to be a BEAST...he double-doubled last night in only 17 minutes...i can't wait to see what he's capable of when he gets comfortable later this season.
