I'm torn here. Dead Space looks really really good....but I loved the original Saint's Row with the crew here and I look forward to getting back to that. Both come out the same day and I can only afford one.

Easy, rent Dead Space play through it once or twice and you're good.
Buy Saint's Row 2 take your time with the single player and play the shit out of multi-player for the next 6 or so months.

Dead Space looks great, but it's probably a rental.

Saints Row 2 is hopefully great. I'd love to have a lighthearted version of GTA.

Dead Space, just because it reminds me of Event Horizon and also, I hate GTA style shooters ewww.

Saints Row 2 looks like generic crap, while Dead Space looks to be a pretty unique and innovative turn on the Survivor Horror genre. I guess it depends on whether you prefer interesting and unique game play, or crap.

I'm on the Dead Space ticket myself. I already played GTA4 this year. I've got Mercs 2 if I want to blow stuff up and I never could get into Saint's Row 1.

Dead Space, on the other hand, looks like Thief in space with a hint of Silent Hill. Mmm...

Damn, D. Tell us how you really feel.

CRAP SEQUELS TO CRAP LICENSES LIKE SAINTS ROW ARE HURTING THE INDUSTRY AND LIMITING ITS POTENTIAL etc. etc.

I voted Saint's Row 2 (I enjoyed the first much more than any GTA game), but I want to play Dead Space more. SR 2 has more replayability and multi-player, so that makes more sense monetary wise.

I'm personally picked up both but I usually ere on the side of content. For example, with everything coming out this Fall, there's no way I'm going to be allowed (with any amount of dishes or laundry) to get them all. So my instinct is to grab something like Fallout 3 and then wait on the others because Fallout is going to offer much more game time than some of the others on my list which can tide me over in the meantime.

So I voted for Saint's Row. While I think both games are going to be awesome and won't really disappoint, I see Saint's as allowing you more play time versus Dead which almost always wins my dollar.

Saints Row 1 was a very entertaining game, if the sequel is as much fun than I'll love it. Dead Space looks interesting but looks like it wont last as long as SR2.

I voted for SR2 since it looks like everything GTA4 should have been. Dead Space looks real slick though, whichever one you get I'm sure the other will come later when it drops in price.

I think I would go with Dead Space. Granted I never got into Saints Row. I know there was a pretty big following for the multiplayer on the first one. I think that is the deciding factor.

We've had this discussion already!

Get Saint's Row 2 and then get Dead Space a few weeks later once it's dropped in price. Dead Space doesn't appear to have much replay value at this point so I expect a similar path like the one BioShock took.

That and in Saint's Row 2 you can spray sewage on people. Can't put a price on that kind of fun.

I'm leaning toward Dead Space. I was a fan of Saint's Row, but after GTA 4 i couldn't go back. And the extreme they're pushing this one to goes way beyond rediculous - using a giant poop cannon to spray waste at people? uhhh.... yeah...

The "Uncle Gary" and Porno bitch stuff hasn't sold me... at all.

Maybe it's the 31 year old in me. That lowbrow shit is just a turn off for me.

I'm with Grifter. I think you will get more playing time out of Saints Row 2. Rent DS if you can. If not do SR 2 first then just sell it back and get some trade in for it. These both are rentals for me. When i'm going to get a chance to play them is another matter...

Saints Row 2 has campaign co-op where you can dress as a katana wielding hotdog. That is shit you want to be on at launch. Dead Space is a renter.

I never buy games based on longevity. I would rather have a game that is consistently good and unique then one that is long and derivative any day.

I find it hard to believe that people are not at least vaguely annoyed by the stupid, wacky humor from the SR2 trailers. They are just painful to watch.

Saints Row was alot of fun. I'd say I enjoyed it as much as GTA IV, but in a different way. I know both of these games are on a Must Buy list. I would say grab Saints Row 2 first, if you liked the first one, the second will be a safe bet. While I have heard alot of good things about Dead Space, it is still the unknown. While I'm postive it will be worth a purchase, I don't know if it'll be worth 60$
