Unfortunately, today's Dipswitch (http://www.playitreviewit.com/dipswitch) enters into another realm of which I have never ventured before, although I easily can infer what the gist of the message is.

I actually enjoy it when there is some incongruity in different forms of media. Sure, the guy manning the Guerrilla Radio in Fallout 3 is trapped in a bunker, but it sure adds a lot more to the game than hearing him talk about the quality of the mold in the bathroom, or the state of his recent bowel movements.

There are plenty of people out there who literally pull their hair out when a particular monitor on their favorite Sci-Fi show is showing the wrong readings from the gamma burst cluster in the system, but those people are obviously too far gone to realize that it's just a TV show, and people make mistakes. Other times, you enter into the realm of awesomeness, like when you introduce the Gears of War Toaster (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/288639.html). I think we can forgive the guys at Bethesda for the indiscretion, which can easily be explained away by the fact that Three Dog recently acquired the omnipotence perk. Begs the question, though, as to why he's still in that bunker.

Stay tuned for next week's Dipswitch (http://www.playitreviewit.com/dipswitch) when we finally move away from the realm of Fallout, into a world that I am slightly more comfortable with.

The only problem with the Radio was how conflicted he seemed to be as to my moral character.

He'd praise me for one thing then rail against me for another. Was kind of jarring. He acted all happy go lucky when I met him even though 30 minutes before I had nuked a city.

The last panel had me laughing harder than a shit joke should have.

*Jizz. Not gist.

Sorry, thought we were talking about something else.

Ahthankyou.

You're too kind.

For me, Three Dog actually commented on Megaton after leaving the town for the first time almost immediately, and has been fairly 'Johnny On The Spot' when it comes to the
missions.

If i was still able to play fallout3 my next step would have been to storm GNR and kill 3Dog. The radio broadcast was fun for awhile but got way to repetative.

Oh yeah, that was a good comic (I forgot to respond to the topic, heh). Yeah, sometimes he's right on the money, other times I'm pissed he hasn't caught up to my latest exploits. Obviously they have keyed in certain events that make him talk about you. Lately he talked shit about me doing the "Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head" mission, speculating whether I was homicidal or just working for someone. I thought that was pretty cool.

Also, in reference to those around here who have commented on Siraris' editorial comments on the comic, I'd like to add something that I've been thinking about.

Siraris is my editor, my 'first reader' for the comic. He often poses questions if he doesn't know about what's going on, or offers editorial advice when it comes to content. Dick and fart, and sometimes shit, jokes don't need Norman Mailer, but they do require input to see if they're funny.

I look forward to reading Siraris' comments out of a completely self-serving interest in what people think about what I drew and wrote. It's fascinating to see someone I respect's take on the comic. What I really appreciate is that you guys keep reading them. Even when they're not out of the ballpark, you guys have been up front about what works and what doesn't.

The question I'd have for you, the readers, about the most recent few comics is:

'Is there an appreciable difference between the early comics and these in terms of art quality?'

Answer if you feel like it. :)

Alien, I think your art is more or less consistent. Maybe slightly better, but if you recall I was one of the first responders to your first comic, and the art was surprisingly excellent then (I say surprisingly because most "1st" comics leave a lot of room for improvement in the design. Even newspaper comics often take time to establish their style). Good job.

Alien, I love the art style. Crisp, clean...and you're good about framing panels to focus on what is important. Never too busy with form or color.

I see nothing really wrong with the art/ Very nice style IMO.

I find many of his comics amusing, which is good. You are already better than Tim Buckley.

Keep up the good work. I really like this comic, since I'm a Fallout zombie right now.

That's not much of a compliment. Not writing comics could make you better than Tim Buckley.

Touche.

But I WAS trying to compliment the lad.

Great work on this one, alienmastermind. I retract my previous "review."

And, to answer your question, I'd say that the art has improved slightly over time.
