Never heard of it, and CNet hasn't reviewed it, nor have any of their members.

Sorry!

Damn, that's a pretty good deal. It only got 25 reviews though, which is pretty low for new egg. I tend to stay away from anything with less than 300 reviews. Plus, most of the reviewers have only owned the TV for a month or less. The quality could be superb, but if the TV doesn't last it's not worth it.

They were selling an Olevia 1080P 42" at Target for $585. However, that deal is over as of 11/8. Maybe wait for Black Friday? I'm sure they'll have similar deals, and for a 1080p TV for only ~$100 more it's probably worth it.

I would advise against it. I don't know anything about the LCD but that means more bad than good. A major problem with LCD's is that the panels are of shoddy quality and begin to show dark lines during darkish low saturation areas that just get bigger and bigger as its life drags on. You don't want your panel to do this to you. Spend the extra money of a good TV, you want it to last you for years.

Supposedly these guys supply lcd's to some of the bigger name brands. Read that on another forum where I found this deal, but who knows.
