Hey CoGers! A favour, should you be willing:
Mrs Squid has launched her business website. She's trying to really make a go of this as a business, and part of that is, of course, advertising.
If you feel so inclined please share the site with anyone you feel may be interested in her wares.

Many thanks :)

Thanks guys. I think she ships internationally, but I'm not 100% certain. You'd think I'd know!

Awesome, blossom. If I'd seen these earlier, I would have tried to get some for my wedding...

Sigh. Why she can't just reply herself, she has an account here and everything, I think she finds this place a little intimidating.
She says yes she ships internationally.

Well, the wedding is in Ireland so the international shipping doesn't apply.
And tell the good lady there really is nothing to be intimidated by! Schnoogs has gone...

She says yes she ships internationally.
But it looks like internationally does not include the US. Or am I reading that wrong?

We also offer international shipping! International shipping (outside the UK) can take anywhere from 3 - 7 days depending on location. As a general guide delivery to western Europe takes minimum of 3 days, eastern europe takes minimum of 4 days, outside of Europe takes a minimum of 5 days. For orders sent Internationally, if there are any customs charges, the buyer is responsible for paying these.
We take great care in packing our items. Our rice paper edibles are carefully sealed in a small ziploc bags. Normally for sugar flowers and other edibles we wrap carefully in acid free tissue paper, then wrap in bubble wrap and ship in a strong cardboard box using void fill material. All our parcels are labelled "Fragile".
Please be aware that we can not take responsibility for actions of the postal service which are beyond our control. In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives damaged or is lost in the post, please contact us (http://www.sugarcloudnine.co.uk/contact-us.php) as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to put things right however a claim may need to be made against the postal service.
Emphasis mine. The US is outside of Europe, so...

There is currently some questions about shipping to the US.
Firstly: Orders she has shipped to America so far have taken anywhere up to 2 weeks to arrive.
Secondly: There is a question of import laws for America. Mrs Squid is looking into it. Fudge may not be allowed in via mail.
And then you have to consider how well the fudge would keep in the post for two weeks. It's made to order with no preservatives.
Akion, I've directed her to this thread. It depends on the allergy I guess. She can't support people that suffer from celiac disease, I know that much.

Ah, that's okay. It's a shame though because her work is really nice and I'm terrible at making sugar flowers. Tina's pretty good, but incredibly slow.
Thank you anyway :)

I should also apologise for the horrendous grammar in my previous reply.

Looks like I won't be ordering any fudge. :(
(It's very unlikely I would have been anyway. :p)

Hi everyone,
I didn't realise Squidbot made a post here so please let me answer some questions.
I have sold a few things to the US which were cake decorations. The problem I am having is the post office says small packet airmail takes 5+ days. Their definition of 5+ days turns out its is actually more like 14+ days. I got a message today from someone to say their parcel (which I posted on 12th September arrived today!) I guess I'm just really scared about sending fudge and having it take so long to get there. The other thing I'm scared of is US customs because some of the fudge contains pieces of fruit, nuts it uses evaportated milk which is a dairy product. I tried searching the web for whether or not handmade fudge from England was allowed in but it seems like a grey area and I just can't get a concrete answer.
What I am doing at the moment is just listing the fudge with postage to the countries I know it will be allowed into while still trying to find out where I can send it. If US customs would allow it in, I might need to find out rates for a priority international service to send it - 14 days is just too long to wait for some people. My other fear is that the postage might end up costing way more than the price of the fudge >_<
