It's funny. I still think the game looks great and the stuff I've heard about the way online play works is even cooler, yet I recall hearing some pretty tepid previews of the Japanese version not too long ago. It was kind of shocking when I read them as I remember WKC being one of the crown jewels of the PS3.

I'm still looking forward to it. Level 5 can do no wrong in my eyes and I'd rather they shoot for the moon and fall a bit short than barely try.

I think that was from TGS 07. They had it playable, but it was still in a very rough state.

The game looks incredible. The music reminds me of a few .hack tunes...not a bad thing either. I'm a .hack fanboy. Score sounded really cool...despite not understanding a word of it :D

That is a damn awesome song, it makes me want to pick up the soundtrack once the game comes out over here. The song reminds me of Shadow Hearts for some reason.

What I've seen so far it sharp and glossy, but oh so paint-but-numbers.

Man, everything i've seen on FFXIII feels to me like a step backwards after the amazingness of FFXII (best art design, game system, and fully realized setting to ever appear in an FF game in my humble opinion). To say i've fallen from the faith would be an accurate statement at this point.

Now WKC, MAN! Some of the semi-recent material floating around had me a little concerned, i felt it looked a little too generic for a Level 5 project. That last trailer has wiped my fears away in a torrent of sheer, concentrated awesome.

And add me to the list of folks who really dig that tune, right up there with the opening J-pop goodness of Grandia 3.

You should download the HD version from the Japanese PSN, I'm sure that'll help. ;)

Also, the ever present purple frog can be seen in the trailer. What Level 5 has with purple frogs is beyond me.

Wow. I usually hide my love for .hack anything since...well...it's not a "cool" game to like or anything ;) Glad there are other closet .hack fans on here :D

It's strange since I'm not a soundtrack person. I think there is something abot JRPGs and their soundtracks that I like. Not that i'm a vet like Spigot or Gorvi...but enough that I just find them compelling. That said...I would buy this game just to listen to the soundtrack. The game looks awesome...and love that cover art...
