Microsoft will be adding three popular Xbox Live Arcade games to its Arcade Hits collection, giving price cuts to downloadable versions of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Worms, and Feeding Frenzy.

The Arcade Hits website was recently updated with the three games and lists them all as retailing for 400 Microsoft Points ($5).

Xbox360Fanboy, who noticed the additions, points out that the new price reflects a 50% discount for all three games.

The price cuts have not yet taken effect on the Xbox Live Marketplace. While Microsoft has not made any announcements on the matter, an official confirmation is expected in the near future.

I wish the Arcade Hits collection was updated more frequently. There are quite a few games I wouldn't buy at their original price, Worms is one of them actually. Now I might have to pick it up.

UMK3 was one of those games I bought when it became available just to have it again....don't care about the other two.

The updates are indeed too infrequent, and they should really rename the collection "Games that haven't moved any units over the last few months." Of course that's what retailers do to so I don't know why this is such a big deal to me. I think it's that they call them hits.

UMK3 sucks because you can't remap the controls for arcade sticks.

XBLA Worms for 400 points? That's a steal even if you don't play it online.
