Has anyone been able to pick up Valkyria Chronicles at Circuit City? I attempted to pick up at copy (CC was selling it for $44.95) this past Sunday when I was informed by an employee that the fine print on the ad circular said they won't have copies until Tuesday. So today, on my lunch break, I head down to my local CC, and no copies of VC on the shelves. An employee offers to check, and after 15 minutes, comes back with a printout "ad correction" that states VC will not be for sale at CC.
At first, I thought this might be related to that CoG news item about Sony stopping shipments to CC over payment issues. I'm not sure this is related, because that CC had several copies of Resistance 2 (both normal and collector's editions) and LittleBigPlanet.
This is will be the last time I shop for games at Circuit City. Amazon, here I come.
