We're off the deep end at the following link (http://www.ingamechat.net/audio/IGC20110618.mp3).
There's no reason to believe our predictions for subscription-based expos will come to pass, or that our pleas for even-footing in games journalism and transparency from games publishers won't fall on deaf ears. Which is all just fine, so long as a top-shelf developer is somewhere toiling away at the SilverHawks property.
We spent more time talking about comics than we really should have. Not that they aren't a fine subject, and there's certainly a lot of crossover, but only one or two of us know what the hell we're talking about, and the rest of us are either completely ignorant, talk too much, or both.

It's like deja vu... Oh wait, I DID hear all this before. Looking forward to the next live show. Don't forget to promote it in the forums and on Twitter. Mayhaps start a Steam group and send out event notifications when live shows are imminent. Just an idea.

listening to the episode now.
I dont understand why people think that microsoft is trying to get rid of the controller with kinect.
Sure, they are pushing the shit out of it because of its success, but im not seeing where people think they are trying to remove one of their biggest selling points.
They know they have one of the best controllers in gaming right now and they really have no reason to change that.
But apparently supporting something that they've placed millions of dollars of development in is a bad thing.
I like my kinect and love my controller more, and i see no reason why they would want to get rid of it.
kinect, while fun, still requires too much of the consumer to be the only option for a controller.

People think it is because microsoft has pretty much said you don't need the controller, that kinect is better, they aren't sorry for going casual, and I am pretty sure it is difficult as hell to use a camera that records your hands and a controller.
