If only I had a 3Ds then I'd be all over that Ocarina of Time 3DS game, the trailers bring back so many memories.

I thought Zelda came out next week? Either way, I'm looking forward to it. I'm also somewhat optimistic about Green Lantern, and think I might even have passes to go watch it. We'll see how that goes.

Duke Nukem, Child of Eden, and Zelda for me. Ugh. Too much to play right now. I would cancel Duke.........but for some reason I just can't!

Child of Eden looks amazing and looks to justify Kinnect by the previews/reviews. Gamefly shipped it this morning. Looking forward to playing it.

Spigot was having a blast with it. His compact impression...it's Rez 2.

I have stuff from Gamefly: Alice and Zelda whenever it is being released.

Gamefly just sent me Child of Eden, i've been drooling over the previews and looking forward to flailing around my living room. ;-)

Well that didn't take long. Duke = canceled. As for Child of Eden, does anybody know if the game uses the Kinect microphone? Mine hasn't been working for the past couple days. :\

Nothing for me this week, but I'll probably check out Alice when it's cheap. I liked the first one.

Spigot would know for sure, but far as I know, you can still use the controller if your kinect isnt' working, and both control schemes work pretty well.

I'll let ya know how it turns out, but the first PS3 review ain't very pretty. I'm glad I found it for $45.

OoT 3D for me, but it doesn't come out on the 14th. Like most Nintendo shit, it comes out on Sunday, the 19th.

EDIT: Hm... apparently High Moon Studios is handling this new console Transformers game, and they're the ones behind War for Cybertron. I'll have to keep my eye on it.

EDIT2: From a quick search for information, it seems that this is a different team who basically lifted everything from War for Cybertron, but gimped it. You only get two weapons on your character, and cannot swap them with weapons you find, there is no co-op, and no Escalation mode. I'll wait for the War for Cybertron team to put out something new.

This will be my fifth time playing through Ocarina and I can't wait. I'll be grabbing that for the 3DS on Sunday. I loved the first Alice but I'm going to wait and see how the reviews look before potentially splurging on the second.

Alice(360) and Cubic Ninja, Zelda for me. May rent Hall Pass.

I opened the link to Wipeout and saw this other game coming to 360. I look forward to seeing it in the list for August 30th. Love how one of the main features is "outdoor action" and how its the "expanded sequel to a wiiware title"

I saw OPM giving Alice a 5 or something. I'll wait till it clears up.

The camera works just fine, it's just the microphone that's borked. I really want to try out Eden with motion controls, but I'm worried I might not be able to fully experience it if it can't hear me. Controller will most likely be the best way to play this anyways.

Exactly. I could quibble a bit about the fact that the progression of the levels isn't as interesting as it is in REZ but it does a wonderful job of giving you that same feeling of sensory overload that REZ did. And by god, it's a beautiful game.
As for Child of Eden, does anybody know if the game uses the Kinect microphone? Mine hasn't been working for the past couple days. :\It doesn't use it as far as I can tell. I've made it to the boss of the final stage and didn't have to talk to the 360 at all.

It's a stellar example of using Kinect as a control scheme though. Unless I'm mistaken, the enemies don't take as many hits with Kinect as they do with the controller scheme, but I think that's because of how you control things. It works though and while I'm not quite there yet, I'm very close to saying that Kinect is a preferable control method to the controller.

I've got Ocarina paid off so I'll grab it. I like the game and all (my wife got it and an N64 for me for a wedding gift instead of a crappy watch :) ) so it holds a special place in my heart but I haven't revisited it in ages due to how hard it is to look at with those chunky textures :)

That said, the commercials of late have really stirred up happy feelings about the game and I'm looking forward to playing through it again for the first time in 10 or more years!

Picked up Duke for the pure novelty value. Getting a discount and having a gift card helped with that decision...
