I remember hearing not long ago that CoG's wikipedia page was up for deletion (and Evil Avatar's page has been deleated). After checking today, I saw the notice still up there and decided to try my hand at rewriting parts of it to avoid said deletion. I didn't redo the whole thing, but I tried to make sound less "like an advertisment." Sorry if anyone's mad at the changes, but you can always change it back. The page is here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colony_of_Gamers), tell me what you think.

Could I bother you to add a link to Rainwave in the External Links section?

Good work, Iron Past! Unfortunately, the article will still likely be deleted at some point due to difficulty in establishing its notability.
Hopefully with the emergence of Co-Optimus and its excellent working ties to Microsoft, as well as the recent addition of Rainwave -- now established as the official OCRemix.org streaming radio broadcast -- we can garner a bit of notability for the network. It's a longshot, but it might just work.
The fact that the EvAv page is gone makes me laugh.

Yeah the notability thing... I was thinking we may be able to tie into Penny Arcade somehow with Childs Play and establish some notability. Maybe if we raise enough money we can squeeze out a mention on the blog.

Changed a word to lessen bias, cause we're better than that..

Okay, who added in the part about Schnoogs?! Funny and all, but should probably be removed.

Aww...the wiki page got deleted. Probably rightfully so, but still sucks, haha.

Who decides if it's notable or not?

Who decides if it's notable or not?No specific person, but generally whether or not it's well known outside of the immediate community.

I'm honestly surprised it slipped through the cracks as long as it did, especially given that it was mentioned the EvAv page was up for deletion.

I still don't understand how such system works. I don't even know half of all the wiki pages. Plus CoG has a lot of members now, quite a community. Still seems like a biased system.

Still seems like a biased system.CoG does not have a lot of members. Even EvAv never had a lot of members. IGN has a lot of members. 1UP has a lot of members. 4chan has a lot of members.
