Wow, I can see no reason why I would pay for any of that, even though the MS points are rather low.

You made something halfway decent guys, don't spoil it.

The prices for these are actually fairly reasonable, I'm just failing to see why anyone would want any of it.

Soo...

Nothing actually new that changes anything in-game, just different textures for existing models.

Wow.

BTW: total cost for all of the content listed here (excluding the PS3 exclusive stuff, which I assume will cost the same as the 360 equivalent): $33

Utterly uninteresting. They're the kind of things that used to be unlocked for free after a successful run through. Now you have to pay for them?

Looks like the old EA is rearing its ugly head by selling textures.

Do people actually buy horse armor like this?

If you've played it through already is there any point to buy a new suit? Highly unlikely. Why isn't DLC free. Pretty sure its already been made at the time the game is completed.

I absolutely love this game, but fail to see a reason why anyone would buy this. Different gun textures? Really? A new suit is more understandable, but if anyone buys gun textures they're stupid.

I agree with pretty much everyone else, why would I want to pay for skin packs?

having flames on a flamethrower would be kewl?

This DLC sounds stupid as hell, but I am not getting my hackles raised like when Namco does it. Probably because there is no skin selector in the game right now, so it doesn't feel quite as bad.

Not saying it's good or great, but it doesn't make me go "what the fuck" like all the Namco ones.

Oh, EA...it was just too tough to resist, huh?

That's one way to combat the lagging economy. Pretty soon we're going to be buying continues.

I didn't read past the Astronaut Pack. What a waste of money.

This is similar to buying themes for your Xbox. Complete waste of money for what equates to a .jpg.

Love the tags...greed, moneywhoring...pretty much nailed it. I guess we are used to game companies doing this. I remember seeing more outrage when all this first started. Someone must buy this stuff since its still being offered. I throw enough money away...i'll save it for my outrageous love for pre-order junk...

Man, since when did buying a game not, you know, give you THE ENTIRE GAME. Fuck DLC. Fuck pre-order bullshit. Fuck limited editions.

Anyone know if there are similar mods for the PC version? Free mods/skins?

None of this DLC is important, and I certainly didn't miss it when I played through the game. As long as the game gives me complete "experience" I don't care what kind of DLC bullshit the publishers try after release.

That's the majority of DLC for ya. Welcome to the wave of the future. :p

As someone else said, this is the kind of stuff that you used to unlock while playing a game.

Why do that though when you can slap a price tag on it?

I personally thank Microsoft for ushering in this new era of "Micro"transacation-filled stupidity. Of course the publishers who run with it are also to blame.

I'm going to hope and pray that this means the art team had nothing to do while the level designers / writers were working on something worth paying for. :p

Wow, so totaled up a handful of textures costs about half what the game does. The game that has multitudes of textures; as well as audio, video, writing, physics etc... That makes sense. ???

Horse armor in explosive clothing. Ridiculous.

Jesus guys, read, it's not horse armour.

Speed Kills Pack: Download the Speed Kills Weapon Pack! Includes faster-firing Force Gun, Line Gun, and Plasma Cutter. 180 MS points/$2.25

Tank Pack: Download the Tank Pack featuring an upgraded Level 5 Suit and powered up Flamethrower, Force Gun, and Line Gun, all covered in Unitology script. 320 MS points/$4
It is however excessive.
