For our episodes we are going to start allowing guests on at anytime. You can either add me through Skype [clayton.cannon] or call us at (386) 259-1346. We first tried this on episode 50 and it worked very well.

Not sure when an official post may show up on the CoG news feed, but Episode 50 is available (http://www.immortalmachines.com/).
Thanks again to our guests! This one was a lot of fun.

Man, someone should have told me to adjust my mic.
By the way, did I ever mention you guys called me while I was in my hotel on a business trip in southern Brazil?

We will be recording 51 next week. Everyone is welcome again. I'll be posting a phone number for those that want to call in instead of using Skype.

Damn good ideas for this last episode on your site. I would have loved to jump on and talk about Mount and Blade's need for...a tutorial:)

Nick from Gaslamp Games was asking if you'd like him to call in and say hi?

I'm going to be posting 50 and 51 later this week on CoG. There are certain days that are already taken by other podcasts. ;)

Listening to 51 now, not sure where to put this (the IM.com website has no comments), but regarding the whole giantbomb game of show, you guys had an entire discussion based on how they chose it on an interview. However, if you listen to their podcast, there was gameplay, like much of e3 it had all been behind closed doors and unavailable to those that weren't invited. they played through the video section and a bit past I think, but I had heard 3-5 people all discuss playing it. So... FOR SURE there was gameplay.
When are you guys recording 52? I might give 'er a shot and discuss some F.E.A.R. sequelitis.

Didn't Jeff Gerstmann actually say that it was more of a perfunctory "yes we have gameplay see you can move the sticks and he does shit so we can get a Judge's Award now shut up and watch our pretty demo?" That is, the gameplay was all done by the demonstrator except in this one tightly-controlled instance for the sake of the judges.

I recall on the day 2 or 3 podcast they had 4 or 5 guys talking about it and the portals and so forth for a long time.
Listen, it isn't like I care, I HATE bioshock. Ok, I don't hate it, but I just don't think it is any good. I'm not trying to stand up for them or the game, just saying there was some form of game other then a trailer on display, and it was behind closed doors. A lot of E3 was behind doors.

Portals? I remember them talking about the weird time-shifting to alternate-1980s New York, but that was part of the developer-run demo that everyone saw.
You are right, though, that there seemed to be a lot of closed-door nonsense at this E3, which really defeats the point. If you're not there to participate in the spectacle and fucking show something, why are you there?
