Are other trade shows like this? Execpt for car shows I don't know any trade shows that uses barely dressed women to sell their stuff. Not that I am complaining, but are we gamers so easily fooled?

I don't think it's a matter of being fooled into buying games. It's just really obvious advertising tactics. I mean, if you knew that most of the people in the convention hall were antisocial nerd men who may not necessarily be that good with the women, then I would figure the easiest way to get their attention would be to have a very hot as-naked-as-legal woman in front of my booth. Definitely increases the foot traffic.

It's cheap, and it doesn't necessarily translate into sales, but it gets people's attention. Hell, it worked for me. I saw "NSFW," and I thought to myself..."get back to writing exams, or possibly see some hot women...bring on the women!!"

And I don't know about trade shows in general, but I have been to an oil industry trade show a couple of times. No booth babes, but quite a few open bars, and the occasional shoe-shine station. And some really interesting vehicles on the show floor.

I guess when you work in radio, "NSFW" has a whole new meaning. I mean, shit, we showed our boss "2 girls 1 cup" when it was all the rage, and he did nothing but laugh.

I think it's just a matter of being overly cautious. Some people's jobs are much more permissive than others. Whereas other in other jobs you could get in trouble having pictures like those above popping up. Nothing wrong with playing it safe.

I totally get that. I used to have a job where bikini pictures were definitely questionable. That was a long, LONG time ago, though. I seem to take my current job's lax atmosphere for granted sometimes. :D

Ahh... that would make much more sense. The more I look at it, she's wearing nip-covers under the paint (which would explain why you can't see where her left nip is) and the piercing doesn't hide as easily as nips do.

Wow. Way, WAY too much thought about a picture of a cute Asian girl.
