At this age it's not the party it used to be, sadly. I spent the day mostly complaining about how I couldn't afford a nice gift for myself. Also, I am the oldest of my generation of our extended family, the youngest shares my birthday, he turned one. I went to his party, and he was scared of everyone, but me :) Little dude and I hung out and made fun of all the old people in the house.

I'd point and laugh, at like my mother, and he would point and cackle. Funny stuff.
