Actually, he eats them pretty regularly. Freaked the wife out a week or so ago by bringing in a bird...sans head.

Being in a group of software engineers at a company where you're coexisting with program managers and systems engineers can get you in to trouble when it comes to Nerf toys and the noise they make.

The battery powered chain loading ones are in fact completely awesome. You do run out of darts awfully fast though.

I so need this at work. Guy in the cube about 20 feet behind me has the sniper rifle, and pegs me on occasion, I need something I can dig into a trench with, and this is it.

I love the idea of a crew-served Nerf weapon. They need to sell a Nerf entrenching tool and Nerf sandbags. Soon we will be able to call in Nerf airstrikes or simply lift off and Nerf them from orbit.
