They feel the calling and the url types itself.
Not only that, I got a PM from some guy (forgot who, sorry :() that put "colony" "of" "gamers" inside his paragraph and said, "Think about it". I thought it was a brilliant "up yours" to evil avatar. :D

I used to check Evil Avatar every day although I hardly posted. I'm hoping to change that around here where things already feel friendlier. On a side note, who thinks the forum needs a reskin?
I think the color scheme actually contributes to the friendliness. Seriously. The lighter colors are really a refreshing change, and there is honest-to-god scientific research matching color to mood.

I agree. I think J Arcane made a great point about color affecting mood. I also think that some of us, myself included, are using the transition as a bit of a 'reset' to the reputation score. Certainly, past stupidity and hostility isn't entirely forgotten (there are a few here I don't like, honestly, and that don't like me, as well), but there really is a different 'vibe' to things here, as far as I'm concerned.
Welcome aboard! I know I'm glad to be here! :)

Sweet Jesus "Lights Out" Seriously is Lights out, Man you weren't Kidding Fits... I kind of hate EvAv now. I look at a lot of the posts now and they are just so evil now..(Guess it fits) a lot of the Red are real asses now, also the the yellows are en masse. They also have a lot of Emo threads about what happened... Sad actually. But I randomly post CoG when I can.. or Co optimus lol. I expect to be banned.

I love you for posting this. Seriously. I quote that "evvveryonnne" semi-weekly. I also have a ginormous crush on Gary Oldman even though he's really old and getting wrinkly.

I never got into the Harry Potter books, and as a result, I haven't seen any of the movies. I heard that he wasn't what everyone expected him to look like. Aside from that, what made him so bad?
(Haha, Batman Begins is on FX right now. Hello, Gary Oldman.)

rin, your words fill my heart with blood. Oldman is the shit, one of our finest, now vintage, exports. And he was fine as Sirius Black. Bah.
If you like Oldman then I highly recommend Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which is a marvelous movie based on Stoppard's play of the same name. Oldman and the equaly brilliant Tim Roth play the eponymous Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters from Hamlet. Check it out.

Indeed. Though if you really want to see Oldman chew up the scenery, regurgitate the scenery, and then pelt the audience with flaming chunks of scenery, watch The Fifth Element.

Now that all the hype is gone...go read them. They are entertaing, fun reads...and the writing gets better as the story progresses...

I've actually been wanting to see this for a while now. Great to hear recommendations from you and jeff. (I'd quote you, but I'm on my phone, and it apparently can't handle the power of the multiquote. Either that, or my finger hit the wrong button.) I like Tim Roth, too, so I'm pretty excited to see it.

TheContinental recently moved cross country. He finally got out of Orlando. Now he just has to remember about all his friends. :(
I see him on AIM occasionally, but it's rare.
Oh, and the Batman pic is frickin' awesome.
