Happy happy day. EA and Harmonix have announced that next week, what I consider to be one of the greatest albums of the last 15 years will be coming to Rock Band: "The Colour & The Shape" by the Foo Fighters.
The full album will be coming to XBLA on Tuesday the 11th, and to PSN on Thursday the 13th. As usual the full album can be purchased for $20/1,600 MS Points, and the individual songs will run you $2/160 MS Points. Because the track "Everlong" from this album is already on the Rock Band 2 disc, it will not be available for download.
The full tracklisting:
Doll
Monkey Wrench
Hey, Johnny Park!
My Poor Brain
Wind Up
Up in Arms
My Hero
See You
Enough Space
Walking After You
New Way Home

OH GOD, I'm so pleased by this. That's probably my favorite Foo Fighters album! :)
(Also, Everlong is the only song I went to RockBand.com to request as DLC, and that was for the first game. I'm happy they put it in the second.)

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. I wish I could afford the money and space Rock Band 2 requires, as I would have this.

Never heard this album but I really think the Foo Fighters are overrated. I'll give it a listen.

Agreed. This was a very formative album as it is one of the first I ever bought as a youth. I listened to it so many times.

Can't wait. EA and MTV have been kicking ass with the Rock Band DLC lately.

I thought most albums came out at 1200 points not 1600.

Well I guess I know where the 1600 point card I got from buying Gears goes then.
