Two more anticipated games have gone gold.

First up is Electronic Arts' parkour inspired action title, Mirror's Edge. You play as Faith, a runner who takes the road less traveled through an Orwellian city of the near future.

Shaun White's Snowboarding lets you take to the slopes with the ubiquitous 'Flying Tomato'. Explore an open mountain and find secrets along the way. Play with the Balance Board on your Wii.

Mirror's Edge will be in stores for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on November 14th, and Shaun White's Snowboarding will be in stores the same day for the 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PS2 and NDS.

Cannot wait for Mirror's Edge.

I also really hope Shaun White's Snowboarding is good. I might hate the kid, but I would love a new snowboarding game that is actually good.

Why make Shaun White Snowboarding? Make AMPED 4!

Amped 3 was such a pile of garbage that I doubt the name has much value right now. Amped was magic, the sequels could never recapture that.

Ok...so Mirror's Edge and what? Because who the fuck is anticipating Shaun White's crappy snowboarding game?

I completely disagree, the series went from being about somewhat realistic snowboarding to just being about the over the top presentation and humor, and as far as realism went the T.H.U.G. games did better in that department. Amped was never overly realistic, but it had a good mix of arcade and realism. Amped 3 was all about over-the-topness.

...and I don't even know what ooo-tah means.

I happen to think Shaun White - particularly the Wii version - will be the sleeper hit of the season. I've read a number of glowing writeups, and it seems to capture the magic of the early Tony Hawk games.

Doesn't the snowboarding game use the Wii Fit board? I can't wait to hear the stories about flying boards busting up expensive TV's...
