I love crossovers, as do many geeks. I was thinking of starting a blog where I discuss and review them. Video games, comic books, tv shows, movies, etc. I'd also post sourced images by fan artists that feature interesting crossovers. There's plenty of material to draw from, and more being made all the time.
A couple questions for the community.
Is this a blog you'd be interested in reading?
I suck at coming up with interesting names. Pitch me some ideas and if I choose yours I'll give you linked credit on the blog. My first thought is "When Worlds Collide," but that might be licensed or something.
I was thinking of ranking each crossover in a couple ways on 1-5 or 1-10 scales. Possible categories include: Originality, Feasibility, Execution, Geek Factor, etc. Good categories? Suggestions?
Hosting suggestions? I use tumblr for some smaller blogs and like the ease of use, but an idea like this might require a more adaptable back end.
Would it be considered crass to feature some of my own crossover images?
Would anyone be interested in writing articles for the blog once it's up and running and I've proven I can keep it going?
