Winners were announced this past weekend for the 2008 Machinima Festival (http://festival.machinima.org/wordpress/?p=102), held at Eyeblast in New York City. "The Ship" by Eglis Medins and "The Monad" by Polygon Fiction led the pack with three wins each. The full list of winners:

Would have been nice to have a link in there somewhere to the web site that lets us check out the videos, or at least a link to the web site where we can see the winners ourselves.

It's nice to see Ignis Solus on there. The music in that was perfect.

Let me just say that Tales of the Past III is on par with most of the superhero cartoons I have seen, at least, from the last year It is no JLA or Gotham Knight, but it is as good as Superman Doomsday or those Hellboy toons. That says quite a bit for a free fan project. I would like to see Blizzard sell DVDs of this on their site.
