Call of Duty: World at War 360 Open Beta Begins

Apparently Activision is ready to open up the floodgates. The Xbox 360 beta for Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War is on Xbox LIVE right at this very moment, waiting for you to download it and continue the WWII fight we temporarily left behind in CoD 3.

Who is Jack Bauer? The guy from 24? Having not seen the show, what makes him cool? The only voice acting I know of that Kiefer Sutherland has done was for an anime called Artimage III. Boy, it was bad, bad.

Not to sound overly negative but this feels more like a call of duty 4 mod or total conversion than a new game, maybe the final product will be better but right now is seems like they just came up with new maps (much appreciated) and threw in the old boring WW2 guns and weapons.
If given the choice between WW2 guns and modern day ones, I would choose high tech weaponry.

This is only my initial impression, i played about 5 rounds and unlocked the custom classes and one or two guns, I only saw the same initial perks etc. There is probably more I haven't come across yet.
