So I was bored and wandering the aisles at Home Depot when I saw this item on sale:

I've always enjoyed the clean, simple look of my SilverStone FT-02 case, but my brain instantly said, "Those lights really need to be inside of your case!" So, about three hours later, my case looked something like this:

The power line feeds in through a vented expansion-slot cover. I didn't quite like the all-white look of the light pucks, so I covered the sides with black electrician's tape; I also wrapped the white wiring with the tape, or at least the portions that would be visible through the side-panel window.
Below is a close-up view (room lights off) through the window (hence the image "fuzz"). The bright light near the center is the one mounted directly on the CPU fan.

For $20 (plus $5 for double-sided tape) and 2.5 hours of my time, I am very pleased with the results. I used nine of the ten lights in the kit, even though you can only see three in the next picture (again, room lights off and through the window). This project made an otherwise-boring Thursday lots of fun.
