7-11 Selling Gears of War 2 early

A friend of mine from work is currently playing Gears of War 2 which he bought from a 7-11 in Studio City California. Apparently the guys at 7-11 don't care much for street dates. Sorry if this has already been posted. Gonna play more Fallout 3..

7-11 and other shops like it have been carrying the big releases recently. They always seem to break the street date because I can remember several other times they made news for it.

I just checked the three 7-Eleven's around my house and no luck, although one was selling Quantum of Solace early.

The game or the movie? There are plenty of gas stations that have a very diverse selection of boot-legs, 7-11 seems like it'd fall in that group.

I played it tonight (didn't get it from a 7-11, they still have those in canada?) and I like this one alot more than the first. played the tutorial and part of the first act. much brighter and more colors than the first dreary dark tones. love the executions and chainsaw attacks.

Well, I'm jealous! I think I'm going to get my copy of Gears 2 a few days late because I preordered it on Amazon and didn't do release day delivery.

Honestly, I didn't even know 7-11 sold video games.

Damn. I was kinda hoping for a new slurpee. There is never a bad excuse to go get a slurpee.
I can't really get one without a reason though. It's cold. I can't simply say "Let's go get a slurpee". Then my friends would say "But it's really, really cold."
I have to say "Gears of War Slupee! YEAH!!" and my friends say "YEAH!"
I don't have friends that say yeah like that, but if I did, I assume that's when you compare penis size.

I noticed I missed that (on my first playthrough now). Hopefully you can go back and get it at some point, fucking pain when they make things you can perma-miss esp when I saw it (not knowing what it was at the time) and didn't pick it up because I was playing 'good'.

Yes, there are achievments for XBOXLIVE for my PC. Achievements and Radeon 4870 make the experience more than it could have been on my 360.

Japanese 7-11s have been selling games for a long time now. It's one of the major retail venues there.
