From the "Overlooked Necessities" dept, some copies of Red Alert 3 are missing their install codes!

From 1up.com (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3171094)
"There is currently a work around that may allow you to bypass this issue. Since you have the first 19 characters of the code already, you can basically try "guessing" the last character. To do this, simply enter your existing code, and then for the last character, try the letters A-Z, and then the numbers 0-9. You should eventually get the right combination and be able to play the game."

Wow, just.... wow. You don't have a code, so guess what it 'should' be. Nice EA. Nice.

In order to get a replacement code, please click the "Contact Us" link on the left side of the page, and attach an image of your code

There are easier ways...

I lucked out with my copy. Not a single issue so far. It's not even crashed once.

To be fair, the easiest way would have been for EA to just, you know, include the full code from the start. :p

Oh, I found it.

EA should just link to that in the support forums and save time on calls.

Must be a slow news day all round (I've seen this printed on multiple sites today). Planet C&C posted the news (http://planetcnc.gamespy.com/fullstory.php?id=154752) last Thursday o_0
