You're in the Movies, the Xbox 360-exclusive title which promises to be to videogaming what YouTube is to Hollywood, is set to hit retail on November 19th.

For those not in the know, YitM brings the cool factor to kitsch allowing players to live out their dreams of becoming a scream queen, zombie or kung fu master - and that's just the beginning.

Utilizing the criminally ignored Xbox LIVE Vision camera, players’ actions are captured and placed into short films that aim to put the spotlight on the unique and often dubious acting talents of friends and family.

Players will be able to choose from 30 scripts including:

“Everyone’s Super” – Be a superhero alongside your friends with amazing super powers.
“Cold-Blooded” – A science experiment gone wrong causes you and your friends to run from a mysterious creature.
“Ninja School” – You and your friends go through extensive martial arts training to become ninja masters.

You’re in the Movies is rated E for Everyone and will be available packaged with the Xbox LIVE Vision Camera for an estimated retail price of $69.99.

This year's most ridiculous game? Still might sell though. The Wii and PS2 has shown us that there's room for games us hardcore gamers find to be shitty.

^This gives it a couple of points though.

Manchester United, Norse? Really? I'm disappointed.

I buy into this crap all the time. But since I already have the camera, I better be able to buy the game by itself. Otherwise, Microsoft is punishing everyone that bought it when there was no good reason to.

Except for Totem Ball...we all loved that one!

I'm kind of interested in this. I think I remember seeing something shown at E3 about it (or something else, it might not even be related). Although, 70 bucks seems pretty steep for the minimal usage camera and a game that its novelty might wear off in a few days.

This won't sell that well. Why? Not because it's cheesy and lame. Those are actually points in favor of it. It won't sell well because it depends on ownership of the Live Vision Camera. The $10 extra for the bundle is just out of most people's range for a game.

What if I don't want to be in the movies?

Oh...just don't buy it! Done!

I already have the camera, if there was a budget disc-only version I'd consider it.

I'm not sure which sounds worse - this or Lips.

Oh well, I guess I don't have to buy them - tally ho! :p

I don't know, but the advertising for Lips will likely be responsible for it selling like pigs feet in a vegetarian grocery store.

If I could get it disc only for $20 somewhere down the line, sure. $70, though?
