I remember having fun with this game and being kinda creeped out by it at the time

Holy fuck! I still have the original CDs for this (and the 11th Hour) and the little books they came in. I've always thought about putting those back on a computer one day.

The only thing I remember about this game is that my mother, who is not remotely a gamer, was extremely excited about this game when it came out. Sadly, our computer (being a 486 clocked at 25mhz) just couldn't handle it.

Games like this are perfect for phones. They could bring back all the point and click adventures. I tried playing Under a Killing Moon a couple of years ago and it was still pretty fun. Phantasmagoria and the awesome Sierra games would be fun too. Like Softporn Adventures!

I never played the 7th Guest, but I had (and may still have) the 11th Hour. That game creeped the heck out of me. I ended up using a guide to get through it. The atmosphere in those games was great, but I always thought the puzzles were way too difficult. Same with the later Myst games. Great fun though. I'd love to see them make a comeback on smartphones.

I loved The 7th Guest. I have iDOS on my phone and I read that people are able to play it pretty well through iDOS but I would definitely prefer to play a version designed around iPhone controls.

I think I paid $70ish for this back when it first came out. My PC struggled to run it but I was able to play through the whole thing.

I can't take a breath...
Without seeing Mr. Death.

I loved these games way back when.

I never knew there were so many words using only the letter Y.

The song is still burned in my brain.

edit: vowel.. not letter.

Random trivia point: Graeme Devine, one of the original designers on 7th Guest (among other things), now works at Apple.
