So let me get this straight. We have AC/DC for RockBand 2 on 360, PS3, and PS2. We have Gears of War 2 on 360. We have Resistance 2 on PS3. And we have Quantum of Solace on just about every platform.

And then we have the monster in the room. Pony Friends: Mini Breeds Edition for the DS.

Decisions, decisions.

We've got another week of the holiday onslaught with about 40 different titles hitting multiple platforms. I believe after this week, we'll only have to survive one more.

On the DVD and Blu-Ray front there's a couple of solid releases including the entire Planet of the Apes set on Blu-Ray as well as Kung Fu Panda on DVD and Blu-Ray. I also may have slipped in a little something for those lonely nights, I'll leave it up to you to determine which one.

I wish I could afford Valkyria Chronicles. The demo didn't help that feeling at all either. But in a strange bout of responsibility, I cancelled my preorder, reminding myself I'm nearly broke and I still have a stack of games I'm going through right now (the things currently in my machines are Order of Ecclesia, Fallout 3, and Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and there are many others waiting to be played).

But yeah, when Persona 4 comes, all else gets pushed aside. I know what I'm doing during Christmas break.

I will be getting Bender's Game. And if I get a chance, I may try to catch Repo! It's been getting a good buzz for a while. And it's got Ogre in it, so it's required viewing for Skinny Puppy fans.

I will play Gears 2 at some point but not any time soon. I still haven't finished the first one and I'm pretty shootered out at the moment.

Why does Valkyria Chronicles have to come out this week? WHY? I expected it next week. Sigh.

There are a few other things on the list I'd like to try at some point (Resistance 2, Quantum Of Solace, Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ) but the only thing I'm actually purchasing is Valkyria Chronicles.

And I also look forward to getting Kung Fu Panda, most likely on Blu-Ray. I very much enjoyed that movie.

Oh, and that BSG collection looks nice but a) it has the colon in the wrong place and b) I refuse to buy any BSG until they have the whole series wrapped up and on Blu-Ray as one giant collection of awesome.

I really didn't care for the trailer I saw of that, it just didn't click for me. On the plus side for Ogre, though, the new ohGr album (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=1892&highlight=ohgr) comes out this week. I am can't frickin' wait for that.

If there was ever a title that got me curious about a game, that was it.
Not that I'll be picking it up, as I can't afford it, nor do I know where the hell my DS has got to (hardly use it).

This year is really brutal. I still have Gears 2, RA3, Football Manager 09 and Left 4 Dead to buy. On the bright side, 3 of them are PC games, so it's a little cheaper at least.

Well, I'm definitely buying Gears. I played through the first one countless times with friends and the new "survival" mode" will probably make the co-op even better plus there is that Circuit City deal for a free 1600 points card.

But then there is Valkerie Chronicles and Resistance 2 THE SAME week. The demo for Valkerie Chronicles was great. A really cool blend of First Person Shooter and turn based strategy. But I think I can wait to pick it up. I got enough on my plate right now.

Also, Space Trader has been out on Steam for a week or two now. It's not bad. Clearly amateur and low budget, and that doesn't include the fact that it's got a grant from Telefilm Canada.

It will feel good to get back into shooters; ive been playing RPGs for like 3 weeks now. Currently doing Fallout 3, and moving forward in The Witcher little by little ( I only started chapter 3, and it feels like ive already put something like 30 hours in it already! ). Ive got Far Cry 2 on the backburner too...ill probably get to it after the holiday rush. Damn , I didnt think it possible, but this year is even worst than last year.

Gears of War 2...I could care less about the single player, I just want to play survival mode. After spending a week trying to install a mod for UT3 to bring back the joy that UT2004 had with it's survival mod...well, you'll know where to find me ;)

I'm really not interested in Resistance 2 at this time...from the sounds of it, the single player game isn't much to write home about and...well, I have a lot of co-op games at the moment that I hardly have time to play, so I'm just going to wait until this one becomes cheap...

No games for me this week. GoW2 and Resistance 2 are both firmly in the rental category for me. Valkryia Chronicles looks good, but it will wait until after I finish up some of my massive stack of unfished games. My son will probably want Naruto, but I think that will end up as a rental as well, since he has three or four other Naruto games that he never plays and hasn't beaten.

For movies though, Kung-Fu Panda (BR), A Christmas Story (BR) and Bender's Game are all on the buy list.
