Picked it up on the weekend.

6hrs and 34minutes with 54% completed so far.

The horses of the apocalypse I thought were cool but the OTHER horse...

bah...at 3am I was trying to find something...but it has some crazy spanish name and that means nothing to me. Get the mystic blue circle heads up on the map and I start looking. There's a pack of wolves and coyotes and a horse. I figure it's gotta be the horse or it's hiding in the bushes.

Nope. -_-

Gonna have to continue hunting later.

The only thing that bothers me is the melee torch. It sucks...thankfully the game's bugged in terms of animals.

So I think I got one of the four horses. But as I am riding it, it kind of turns on it's own. I can't tell if that's normal or not... It certainly doesn't seem normal. Though it may just be an undead horse, since that's what it said as I hit triangle to jump on it.

Undead horses are no different than any new horse that's unruly in RDR. They hate your guts. Cept I think these ones will always hate your guts. They are supposed to try and jerk away from your control. ;\

I have War and it's pretty awesome. I really want Death though because anything it comes in contact with explodes. The special secret horse however...that, is going to be something special.

Undead horses appear when your horse dies, methinks, or after some set period. Undead horses also SUCK. I've had mine traipse right off cliffs.

I've got War, too, and he's fairly fun. I thought I saw one horse up in Tall Trees, but I never found him again.

Nah undead horses are on always, but your horse can turn into an undead horse if it dies. If you have the pre-order bonuses they come too but not your legend of the west outfit from the Main SP.

Pestilence is the one in Tall Trees and it SUCKS. Keep War.

The Undead Nightmare DLC is its own game, like the GTA4 expansions.

Question is, how do I keep it? I saw a youtube video looking at one of the horses a few days ago when I thought I found one, and the item in the person's inventory said something about a 'Blood Pact.' It doesn't look like there is any shops so how would I acquire that item?

They only have one life, you can hitch it to make it your loyal steed but other than that you have to collect the other 2 and complete the single player quest line to get death, after that you get the deed for all 4.

If yes, just say yes, if no, just say no lol. I really wanna be surprised when I finally see what it is, hell seeing the one I mentioned should be really damn neat in the first place.

Within the first 10 minutes of playing Undead nightmare, my least favorite RDR character has his chest ripped open and entrails eaten by a zombie. Oh, I'm going to like this...

They aren't kidding about this being harder than the main campaign. Ammo is so scarce I'm having to use a torch to keep the undead off of me.

Just save a bunch of towns and complete the quest line. Instead of money you get ammo. I'm pretty sure that cemeteries you can light the caskets on fire(receiving ammo in turn) and run away(resetting the encounter), abuse that if you wish.

I was about 3/4 through New Austin quest/town saving and never had a problem with revolver/repeater ammo. Sniper ammo, different story but after mexico I'm an arsenal.

Just a note too, using dead eye to line up your shots doesn't consume much. It's using dead eye auto shooting that really drains it.
